Alexis Bellino is pushing back against how her fight with Heather Dubrow appeared on “The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC).” The reality star has now shared details that viewers did not see during the heated exchange.

Speaking on Tamra Judge’s “The Orange Doesn’t Fall Far” podcast, Bellino discussed what happened behind the scenes. She revealed that she felt anxious about attending Tamra’s party because she knew Dubrow would be there.
“I didn’t really want to go. You had asked me,” Alexis told Tamra. Before arriving, Bellino already felt uneasy about what might happen. Referring to her husband, John Janssen, she said, “Even in the car, I kept telling John, ‘My stomach is in knots.’ And I think it was my gut saying, ‘Be prepared.’”
Tension quickly developed once Bellino reached the party. Dubrow later claimed that Bellino gave her a dirty look and ignored her wave. The exchange then escalated, with Bellino calling Dubrow delusional.
However, Bellino shared a different account of how the confrontation began. She said she planned to greet Tamra and Dubrow, but production told her to remain in a holding area.
“By the time I get to the second holding spot, you [Tamra] came out and said, ‘Heather thinks you gave her a dirty look,’” Alexis recalled. “In my mind, I’m like, ‘Here we go. I’m being used as a plot.’”
Looking back, Bellino admitted that her reaction may have caused viewers to question both her and her husband. She also acknowledged that she overreacted and regretted how she handled the confrontation.
“Everyone thinks I made this moment about me. The whole point is I didn’t even want to mic up,” she said. “I didn’t want to be a moment. I definitely overreacted. I mean, we can all see that. I should have not just gone. And I’ve taken that accountability.”
