Bridget Marquardt has backed Jessica Biel and criticized Crystal Harris, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s third and final wife. The 53-year-old claimed Harris was “looking for attention” after she texted Biel, asking her to reconsider playing Hefner’s wife in the film Playmates.
Bridget Marquardt accuses Crystal Harris of seeking attention over her message to Jessica Biel
Speaking on The TMZ Podcast, Bridget weighed in on Harris reaching out to Biel about Playmates, a film written and directed by Lorraine Nicholson. She believes Biel should move forward with the project without feeling obligated to respond to Harris.
The model and reality TV star, who was among Hefner’s longtime girlfriends, said, “The mansion is a fascinating place because so many people have come and gone. Everybody has unique stories. Like there [aren’t] two stories that are similar. Everybody has their own experiences that they had there.”
“What bothers me is if somebody doesn’t want other people to tell their story. I don’t like that she doesn’t want Lorraine to tell the story or Jessica to be a part of it. I feel like everybody should be allowed to tell their story. Positive or negative,” she further expressed.
She suggested that there might be some confusion about the film’s timeline. She said the story takes place in the 1990s. She also thought Harris might have misunderstood Biel’s role in the film. According to her, Harris may have believed Biel would portray her in some way. However, she clarified that the film does not focus on Harris’s time period. Instead, Biel would loosely portray Kimberley Conrad.
Conrad was Hefner’s second wife and shared two children with the Playboy founder. They tied the knot in July 1989 before finalizing their divorce in March 2010. Two years later, Hefner married Harris on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2012. Their marriage lasted until Hefner’s death at age 91 on September 27, 2017.
