Prince William was engaged in royal commitments on Prince Harry’s birthday after he returned to the UK. The Sussexes flew privately from California to Birmingham on August 26 and intend to stay in the UK for an extended period of time. On September 15, Harry turned 42, celebrating his first birthday in the country upon returning to the UK. However, it is widely speculated that the brothers remain estranged.

On Prince Harry’s birthday on Tuesday, Prince William reportedly visited Princetown near Devon. The future king engaged with the locals, offering smiles and warm handshakes, as per photos and videos doing the rounds on the internet.
As per HELLO!, the important motive of this visit was to discuss the Princetown Community Fund. The fund will reportedly provide £250,000 (approximately $336,000) to support social, economic, and environmental projects led by the local community in the village near Dartmoor Prison. William even attempted to use the printing press as he received applause from the locals.
This outing comes a day after Meghan Markle shared a wholesome video on Instagram to celebrate her husband’s birthday. She shared a lovely collection of never-seen-before photos in a video compilation with the caption: “He’s simply the best. Happy birthday, my love,” followed by a heart emoji. Notably, Meghan soundtracked the post to “Simply the Best” by The Hound + The Fox and added little glimpses of Archie and Lilibet as well.
Although Harry and William are in the same country now, they seemingly have not had any contact with each other. Signs of cracks were first visible when Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals and settled in California. The tensions intensified when the Sussexes slammed the Royal Family in an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey the following year. The matter reportedly reached its peak when the Duke of Sussex published his 2023 memoir, Spare.
