Elon Musk’s Estranged Daughter Vivian Wilson Slams AI

Elon Musk‘s estranged daughter Vivian Wilson criticized AI in a new fashion campaign. The 22-year-old model starred in Desigual’s fall 2026 campaign. Wilson used the project to voice concerns about artificial intelligence. She specifically criticized its impact on creative workers.

Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, slammed AI’s “plagiarized colors” in new campaign.

Wilson starred in Desigual’s “Born to Disobey” campaign. The Spanish fashion label built the campaign around individuality and rebellion. Wilson said she wanted to work with the brand for its creative approach, as reported by People.

“They are very ambitious in their creative visions, which is something I appreciate,” Wilson said. She also explained why she wanted to address AI through the campaign. The model said the technology threatened creative jobs and the environment.

“It takes jobs away from talented creatives while being detrimental to the environment,” Wilson said. She also questioned whether AI could capture genuine human expression. For Wilson, emotion remained essential to meaningful art.

“Art is emotion through expression,” she explained. Wilson argued that human emotion could not be replicated by AI. She added that artificial intelligence removed the intention behind creative work.

“AI takes away any underlying intention and replaces it with plagiarized colors and shapes,” Wilson said. Her comments reinforced the campaign’s broader message about individuality. The project challenged audiences to think differently about technology and creativity.

The campaign also featured DESI 84, a robot designed for everyday tasks. Wilson placed the robot in situations outside its training. Those moments were intended to highlight the machine’s limitations.

Desigual described the campaign as a rejection of conformity. Its message encouraged people to embrace individuality and personal style. Wilson’s fashion philosophy similarly focuses on creative self-expression.

The model said she preferred personalizing clothing instead of overconsuming. She encouraged people to alter existing pieces creatively. “I would suggest learning how to alter your own clothing,” she said.

Wilson has also spoken openly about social issues. She credited the queer community with helping her find her voice. She said being outspoken strengthened her critical thinking.

The Desigual campaign gave Wilson another platform for expressing her views. This time, she used fashion to challenge AI’s growing influence.
