Gayle King calls Tom Brady ‘one of the nicest people’ in interview with ‘Office Romance’ stars
Gayle King gushed about Tom Brady in the recent “CBS Mornings” interview with Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein. The two actors appeared on the morning show to promote their upcoming Netflix film, “Office Romance.” While they were discussing the movie, it was revealed that Goldstein co-wrote the screenplay, keeping J.Lo in mind. He then joked about writing another script for King.
This received an immediate reaction from the broadcast journalist. “Do I fall in love with Tom Brady? Or, no, does he fall in love with me? You’re very good at manifesting,” she said. Furthermore, he stated that the athlete was “one of the nicest people,” adding that her previous comments were “an obvious joke.”
However, Goldstein didn’t let her off the hook when she pulled the co-stars’ legs. She said, “I love the chemistry on and off the camera. If it does turn out to be something, I’d like to be included in … birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings. Just throwing it out there.” With this remark, the anchor taunted the on-screen couple about their chemistry behind the scenes.
In response, the “Ted Lasso” star quipped, “Please invite us to the Tom and Gayle wedding.” Their fun remarks didn’t end there, as King asked Goldstein to “let [Brady] know” about her crush, since the footballer is “not aware.”
Meanwhile, this was not the first time King talked about the athlete. During her appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, she expressed her desire to date someone “younger” and name-dropped the 48-year-old sportsperson.
