Lopez added, “You gotta be prepared,” because lighting and wardrobe left little room for guessing. However, she clarified that the preparation was not about starving. She said it meant “eating healthy and eating the right things” while “working out and being consistent.” The “On The Floor” singer also mentioned protein as part of the routine.
Meanwhile, Brett Goldstein said he felt the same pressure during his own shirtless scene. When asked about it, the “Ted Lasso” alum replied, “Of course I f***ing did.” He then added, “I’m doing a scene with this one,” pointing the pressure back toward Lopez. Earlier, Goldstein said he and the writers built the film around her from the start. He called Lopez a “phenomenal artist” and said her work continued to “transcend time.” He also said she was underrated as an actor.
