Jennifer Lopez’s Bikini Scene in ‘Office Romance’ Took Serious Preparation

Jennifer Lopez said her bikini scene in “Office Romance” required discipline before the cameras rolled. The scene became a key talking point in the promotion, and the discussion on it happened during a new interview with Brett Goldstein. Lopez said the preparation involved gym work, clean eating, and consistency. Goldstein also admitted feeling pressure beside her. The Netflix movie puts J.Lo back in the glossy workplace-romance lane after years of her fan-favorite rom-com roles in movies like “The Wedding Planner” and “Maid in Manhattan.”

Jennifer Lopez shares how she prepared for her bikini scene in ‘Office Romance’

As per Extra TV, Jennifer Lopez addressed the bikini scene after direct praise. She said, “You know that you’re gonna be on screen,” while explaining the practical pressure. Lopez added, “You gotta be prepared,” because lighting and wardrobe left little room for guessing. However, she clarified that the preparation was not about starving. She said it meant “eating healthy and eating the right things” while “working out and being consistent.” The “On The Floor” singer also mentioned protein as part of the routine.

Meanwhile, Brett Goldstein said he felt the same pressure during his own shirtless scene. When asked about it, the “Ted Lasso” alum replied, “Of course I f***ing did.” He then added, “I’m doing a scene with this one,” pointing the pressure back toward Lopez. Earlier, Goldstein said he and the writers built the film around her from the start. He called Lopez a “phenomenal artist” and said her work continued to “transcend time.” He also said she was underrated as an actor.

However, the interview also framed “Office Romance” as a return to Lopez’s romantic-comedy space. She said the script was “funny,” “touching,” and “romantic,” but had a sharper edge. She compared it with “Monster-in-Law,” “Maid in Manhattan,” and “The Wedding Planner.” The movie was set to hit Netflix on June 5. Later, Lopez also discussed her kids, Max and Emme, graduating from high school. She said her twins worked hard, earned scholarships, and remained “loving, good-hearted people.”
