Ben Affleck is reportedly feeling pressure as he balances his relationships with ex-wives Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez. An insider claims the actor wants to stay on good terms with both women but worries that Lopez could feel sidelined.
The situation may become more complicated during the upcoming holidays. Affleck reportedly plans to spend time with his children and Garner while also maintaining his close relationship with Lopez.

As per The Blast, citing a source who spoke to the Examiner, Affleck reportedly feels caught between his two ex-wives.
“It’s a tricky situation now that he’s back on such great terms with J. Lo because he’s very afraid of upsetting her or making her feel like she’s second fiddle to Jennifer,” the insider claimed.
The source further alleged that Lopez had previously felt she came second to Garner during her marriage to Affleck. According to the insider, the actor now makes an effort to reassure Lopez that this is not the case.
However, trying to maintain both relationships reportedly creates pressure for Affleck. The insider claimed he enjoys remaining close to both women but that trying to “keep them both happy” causes him “a lot of stress.”
The upcoming holiday season could add another challenge. Affleck reportedly expects to spend time with the three children he shares with Garner, Violet, Fin and Samuel. The actor has previously spoken about his co-parenting relationship with Garner, making time at her home a natural part of the family’s plans.
Lopez, meanwhile, reportedly wants Affleck to spend some of the holidays with her as well. The source also noted that Affleck’s children remain close to Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme.
A joint celebration apparently remains unlikely. The insider described Lopez and Garner’s relationship as cordial but “surface-level,” claiming their connection largely comes from Affleck and their children.
Affleck and Lopez finalized their divorce in 2025. The actor has since spoken publicly about having “nothing but respect” for Lopez, while reports have continued to suggest that the former couple remain on good terms.
Affleck also maintains an amicable relationship with Garner, who has discussed raising their children across “two separate households”.
