English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran‘s upcoming Australia and New Zealand tour has more than doubled in size since he first announced it, with the original concerts fast expanding to 17 dates, 11 of which have already sold out.
The musician has now announced a third Brisbane date has been confirmed for Sunday, 22nd March at the Riverstage and a second Perth concert will take place on Sunday, 5th April at Perth Arena.
This is in addition to the extra dates already added in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland. The 23-year-old will be the first artist to embark on a solo headline arena tour across the country since the legendary John Denver undertook the challenge 20 years ago.
All shows on Sheeran’s upcoming tour will be all ages and in an effort to make tickets more financially accessible all ticket prices, regardless of location, will be capped at $99 + bf. Judging by the amount of sold out shows, this strategy seems to be working.
Frontier pre-sale tickets to the new shows in Brisbane and Perth will be available from Tuesday 14th October while general public tickets will go on sale from 10am local time on Thursday, 16th October. Tickets to the other shows that aren’t already sold out are moving fast, so best get on that soon. See the updated tour dates below.
