There are spoilers ahead if you aren’t caught up with “Arrow” Season 3!
In the third season premiere of “Arrow,” Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) came back to Starling City… and she was promptly murdered by an archer whom she recognized. And in “Arrow” universe, the only archer more well known the Arrow (Stephen Amell) himself is none other than Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).
While Malcolm’s activities in Corto Maltese may rule him out as Sara’s killer, Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) has returned and she wants to avenge her lover’s death. In this preview scene from this week’s episode of “Arrow,” Nyssa enlists Oliver, Roy (Colton Haynes) and Diggle (David Ramsey) to her cause by revealing that Merlyn isn’t dead. And he had a pretty big motive to kill Sara…
Keep in mind that murder mysteries are rarely solved easily. Merlyn may be the most likely suspect, but it’s a little too obvious. There has to be some kind of twist. And don’t be too shocked if someone brings up the words “Lazarus Pit” sometime this season.
Also on tap for this week’s episode is the long awaited on-screen debut of Matt Nable as Nyssa’s father, Ra’s al Ghul.
