First Look At The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book Video Trailer

In 2003, Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore unleashed The Walking Dead comic book series at Image Comics. In the 12 ensuing years, it has become a bestselling comic, a blockbuster TV series on AMC, a series of action figures and statues, video games, and now…a pop-up book?!

That’s right. On November 10, Insight Editions is publishing The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book, based primarily on the TV series. The book was written by Stephani Danelle Perry, with paper engineers Becca Zerkin and David Hawcock (both of whom designed the pop-up action in the book) along with illustrator Sally Elizabeth Jackson. This is unlike any Pop-Up book you’ve ever seen before and it is most definitely not for young children!

The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book revisits some of the most iconic zombies and locations from the TV show’s first five seasons, including the “Bicycle Girl” zombie from the pilot episode, the prison where Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors attempted to find shelter, the unexpectedly deadly farm of the late Hershel Greene, and even the cannibal horror of Terminus from the end of the fifth season!

Insight Editions has released the first video trailer of The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book, and it’s the perfect Halloween teaser for fans of both The Walking Dead comic and TV series.

The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book will retail for $65.00, but you can pre-order it from Amazon.com and get a discount before it hits book stores nationwide on November 10.
