The Hunting Wives Season 2 Trailer Teases More Trouble for Malin Akerman & Brittany Snow

Netflix is heading back to Texas for another round of high-society scandals. The streaming platform has released the trailer for The Hunting Wives season 2, bringing more trouble to Brittany Snow’s doorstep in Texas.

The new season arrives just over a year after the first, marking one of the shortest gaps between seasons for a Netflix original series. Based on May Cobb’s novel of the same name, The Hunting Wives follows a group of wealthy socialites whose lives take a dark turn.

Netflix renewed the series shortly after it premiered, thanks to positive reviews. The first season has scored 81% on Rotten Tomatoes and amassed over 20 million views, according to Tudum. The upcoming season will tell an original story, breaking free from the plot of the novel.

What happens in The Hunting Wives Season 2 trailer?

Following the Season 1 finale, Sophie and Margo find themselves at odds in The Hunting Wives. However, new enemies and old secrets force the two to work together again as they become entangled in another conspiracy.

The second season brings back Snow and Malin Akerman, who are joined by Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, Jaime Ray Newman, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and more. New cast members joining the show include Kim Matul as a Hollywood producer new to Maple Brook. Matul is joined by John Stamos, Dale Dickey, Angel Reese, and more.

Earlier this year, Mulroney had confirmed that a third season is in the works, which will also include eight episodes. According to Rebecca Cutter, the show’s creator, the second season may also end with another cliffhanger.

“I’m so excited to write these amazing characters again,” Cutter told Tudum previously. “And I can’t wait to take the audience on another sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride through Maple Brook.”

The Hunting Wives season 2 premieres on November 26, 2026, on Netflix. May Cobb and Erwin Stoff serve as executive producers.
