Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from Mossimo Giannulli after nearly 30 years of marriage. The Full House star submitted the paperwork months after the couple separated and began living apart. Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997 and have two daughters, Bella Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli.
According to TMZ, the 62-year-old actress listed August 31, 2025, as their separation date. She cited irreconcilable differences and said the couple has a prenuptial agreement. Their divorce filing now moves their long-running separation into a legal process.
The couple’s finances could also become part of the proceedings. It was previously reported that their prenup could keep much of their property separate. They also sold their Hidden Hills mansion for $12.65 million in late 2025.
Their marriage faced major public scrutiny after their involvement in the college admissions scandal. Both served prison sentences after pleading guilty to federal charges. Loughlin has recently returned to public life. She revived her Instagram account after years away and shared a video captioned, “Here’s to things working out.”
Lori Loughlin’s return to When Calls the Heart
On the work front, Lori Loughlin is also preparing to return as Abigail Stanton in When Calls the Heart Season 14. Hallmark confirmed that she will appear in six of the season’s 12 episodes.
The upcoming season marks Loughlin’s first return to the series since Abigail left Hope Valley. Hallmark announced her comeback in December 2025, describing the character as a longtime fan favorite.
Loughlin already appeared as Abigail in a surprise cameo during the Season 13 finale. The brief return ended with Abigail arriving back in Hope Valley and saying, “It’s good to be home.”
Season 14 began production in British Columbia in August 2026. The new episodes are scheduled to arrive on Hallmark in 2027.
Loughlin’s return follows her appearances in other projects, including Curb Your Enthusiasm and On Call. She has also reunited with several When Calls the Heart cast members ahead of the new season.
