Theo James and Giancarlo Esposito return as Netflix’s hit crime drama arrives with its second season. The Gentlemen Season 2 brings back Eddie Horniman and Stanley Johnston as they enter a larger criminal world with bigger challenges.
The new season comes after a one-year time jump from the events of Season 1. Eddie and Susie Glass have continued working together under Bobby Glass’ criminal empire overseas. Their growing operation now pushes them beyond the grounds of Halstead Manor.
All eight episodes of The Gentlemen Season 2 are available to stream from today, September 3, 2026. Apart from Theo and Giancarlo, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones also return. New cast members include Hugh Bonneville, Benedetta Porcaroli, Maya Jama, Michele Morrone, and Sergio Castellitto.
How Eddie and Susie’s growing ambitions threaten everything they’ve built
Eddie is no longer hesitant about his place in the criminal underworld. He wants to expand his empire while holding onto his position as the Duke of Halstead. That ambition creates tension with Susie and challenges the alliances supporting their rise.
Their expansion takes them into Northern Italy, where they establish a new foothold. There, they encounter Marco Moretti, a powerful Italian crime boss played by Sergio Castellitto. They also work with fixer Cico Maldini, but his loyalty cannot be taken for granted.
Back in their existing world, Bobby’s increasingly unsound decisions create another problem. Eddie and Susie must decide whether to challenge him or risk losing everything. Their partnership also faces pressure as their individual ambitions become harder to balance.
Eddie’s growing status among the legitimate elite adds another complication. His criminal activities increasingly overlap with his aristocratic life and responsibilities. Meanwhile, Susie must decide whether Eddie remains someone she can rely on.
Netflix has already confirmed The Gentlemen Season 3, ensuring the story will continue. Guy Ritchie remains involved as creator, writer, and director alongside the returning creative team.
Right now, all eight episodes of The Gentlemen Season 2 are streaming exclusively on Netflix.
