An acclaimed Paramount+ TV show has emerged as one of 2026’s most-streamed titles despite a major obstacle. Since its debut two years ago, the neo-Western crime show has been highly popular among viewers.
Paramount+ TV series Landman has been listed among the 20 most-streamed TV shows in Nielsen’s chart for the first half of the year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Landman managed to grab the 13th spot in the list, dominated by other popular shows, including Stranger Things, The Pitt, Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and Bridgerton, among others. It’s worth noting that the series was watched for 12.4 billion minutes, despite a huge hurdle.
The shortest TV series in the Top 20 most-streamed rankings
Interestingly, Landman happens to be the shortest TV series featured in Nielsen’s list of Top 20 most-streamed shows in 2026.
Compared to the rest of the competition, the hit Paramount+ TV series only contains a total of 20 episodes. However, it still managed to keep viewers hooked, which speaks volumes about its growing popularity since the last two seasons.
Landman season 1 was initially released on Paramount+ in 2024 and received mostly positive reactions. Currently, it holds a solid Tomatometer score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 2 was launched last year and surpassed the first chapter in terms of critical reception. It holds a staggering Tomatometer score of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Landman’s ensemble cast features Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randoph, Kayla Wallace, Demi Moore, and Jacob Lofland. Sam Elliott and Andy Garcia joined the series with season 2 and will reprise their roles in the next season as well.
Across the last two seasons, the show has also made an impact during prestigious Awards events, including the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, where Bob Thornton was nominated in the Best Leading Actor in a TV Series – Drama category for playing Tommy Norris.
Landman season 3 has yet to receive an official release window on Paramount+.
