Taylor Swift seemingly missed the Chiefs game against the Broncos, which ended in a loss for Travis Kelce’s team. The pop star has been hit or miss at Chiefs games this season, mostly appearing at games held at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift apparently did not make it to Empower Field at Mile High to cheer for Kelce in an AFC West clash against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 1.
Why the singer wasn’t spotted supporting Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift appears to have missed supporting Travis Kelce’s Chiefs’ recent game against the Denver Broncos. The Denver Broncos handed the Kansas City Chiefs a brutal loss of 28-24 in the game.
Not only that, the “Lover” crooner previously missed the Chiefs’ game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Chiefs lost the game with an embarrassing score of 20-3 against the Seahawks (via New York Post).
The next day, the 14-time Grammy winner was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. She became the youngest-ever member to receive this honor at age 36. Swift appeared solo to receive her award and shared her appreciation for her contemporaries and fellow songwriters in a heartwarming speech.
Interestingly, this was after the Seahawks took a jab at her and Kelce by flaunting friendship bracelets. For those unversed, Swift’s fans made custom-made friendship bands during the Eras Tour and exchanged them with other fans during concerts.
Notably, Kelce attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it. Although he could not do so, the pair eventually started dating and finally tied the knot this year.
The Atlantic shared a video of the Chiefs tight end emotionally addressing their loss against the Broncos. Kelce shared: “We got a lot of fight. You got to take the positives out of this. You can’t dwell on it. In our hearts, we feel like we should have come out with a victory. Reality of things, we got to fix a lot.”
