Meghan Markle’s much-awaited TV comeback with Junior MasterChef Australia is facing some backlash online. As per a report by The Royal Observer, a petition has been filed on Change.org titled “Remove Meghan Markle From Junior MasterChef Australia.” The petition is now “under review.”
Moreover, the petition has questioned the makers’ decision to recruit the Duchess of Sussex instead of homegrown Australian talent. Furthermore, it has raised concerns in the wake of damning allegations involving her father. At the time of writing, the petition has garnered around 3500 verified signatures.
Fans and users have been vocal about their grievances against Markle’s impending appearance on X. One user commented: “I have signed the petition opposing Meghan Markle’s appearance on Junior MasterChef Australia. Our children deserve better.”
