MasterChef Australia judge Poh Ling Yeow lavished praise on Meghan Markle and dismissed rumors of an alleged rift in a new interview. In a brief interview with PEDESTRIAN.TV on October 28, Yeow had only nice things to say about the Duchess of Sussex.
The celebrity chef was asked about their alleged dispute and rumors that the pair did not get along well on the cooking show. Yeow replied: “Honestly, that was a really crazy experience, to actually watch the fallout. Seriously, the woman has a will of steel, and I just have even more admiration for her.”
Furthermore, the 52-year-old explained that rumors of an alleged feud just follow because it is the nature of the beast. She described rumor mongers as “insatiable and horrible” and revealed that this was a learning experience for her as well.
This isn’t the first time Yeow has clarified rumors of her alleged rift with the Duchess of Sussex. In a previous radio interview, the celebrity chef stated that she has nothing to complain about. In fact, had a great time working with Markle (via PEOPLE).
Yeow branded the hate as “ridiculous” and called the experience “very eye-opening”. Additionally, she stated that this was the first time something like this had happened to her. She said she had now realized what Markle deals with daily.
Furthermore, Markle expressed her excitement about collaborating with the team on Junior MasterChef Australia. She revealed that when she was approached for this, it was an “easy yes” from her end.
