Taylor Swift’s team allegedly burned her opulent wedding decor immediately after the ceremony. For those unversed, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. Now, as per a new development, the popstar’s team destroyed the wedding props to ensure fans wouldn’t misuse them or try to make a profit out of them.
Insider reveals how Taylor Swift’s team burned the decor after the wedding
Insiders attached to The Daily Mail dished that Taylor Swift’s team demolished her wedding decor and props after the ceremony. The popstar’s team reportedly ordered the crew members to “dispose” off the grandiose wedding props to make sure there was not a single trace left.
A source dished to the outlet: “They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all.”
Notably, Swift and Kelce reportedly hired a wedding team that built them decor and props from scratch. This includes a make-believe forest-like setup, an extravagant peach-colored tent for games, and a huge T&T structure that was allegedly transported from New York to Pennsylvania. It was burnt there, though exact information about the burning site is not available on the internet.
The insider explained: “They had told us it was going to be incinerated, but I don’t know where they actually physically incinerated it.” Interestingly, the outlet has stated that the “Opalite” crooner did not specifically give such detailed instructions. However, her team allegedly carried out the task on her behalf to maintain complete privacy.
Notably, the Grammy winner was thoroughly involved in the wedding preparations. It was reportedly because she did not just want to be “handed” a wedding and wanted to actively participate in the planning and design.
This did not stop Swifties from lurking around MSG, hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride or the wedding decor. In fact, as per the outlet, fans were treated to some leftover dessert from the “Lover” singer’s wedding celebrations.
