Additional details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans have surfaced in a new report. The couple reportedly tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City, with more than 1,000 guests attending the celebration. Although Swift and Kelce have not publicly shared their official wedding photos, the Daily Mail has published renderings showing how the venue was expected to look.
New renderings show the proposed carousel for their MSG reception
The Daily Mail has revealed interesting new photos from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded MSG wedding celebrations. The outlet shared photos showing how the design team planned to transform the iconic sports venue into a stunning forest.
The extensive setup included a two-tiered carousel, a man-made pond below the altar, and a long line of real and artificial trees boasting twinkling lights. This setup was inspired by the enchanting backyard garden where Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025.
The outlet previously revealed that the elaborate setup included a coral-carpeted entrance filled with the celebrity couple’s loved-up photos. Notably, this also included a photo of the couple’s first joint pet, Wendy. As per the outlet, the wedding planning process began in November, eight months before the actual wedding. An insider explained that the “Opalite” crooner had to cut some corners and compromise on her vision to fit it into the grand scheme of things.
The wedding planning was helmed by LA-based ace Mark Seed, and to keep it a secret, the couple’s wedding planning was branded as “Eventica.” A source dished to the outlet: “The carousel was going to be like $7 million.” The source explained that even if it were reduced to one storey, it would have cost $3.5 million. However, the idea was eventually scrapped due to the enormous price. Swift and Kelce eventually opted for peach-colored tents for carnival games, which included cornhole and mini golf.
