Queen Camilla ‘Sussed Out’ Meghan Markle’s Games From the Start — Author

Queen Camilla reportedly saw through Meghan Markle from the beginning, according to investigative biographer Tom Bower. Speaking on “The Royalist” podcast, Bower claimed Camilla believes Meghan has a strong influence over Prince Harry. However, these remarks reflect the author’s opinion rather than an established fact.

Queen Camilla was right about Meghan Markle ‘brainwashing’ Prince Harry, claims author

Bower told host Tom Sykes that Harry became deeply attached to Meghan soon after they met. “He was smitten,” Bower said. “Meghan had him dangling very quickly—I’d say, within the first 24 hours after they met. And he’s still brainwashed.”

The author also suggested that Queen Camilla understood the couple’s relationship from her own life experience. He described her as an experienced woman who could recognize what he viewed as their intentions.

“Camilla, who is an experienced woman about town, who’s seen a thing or two in her life—a sensible, good English country woman—knows exactly what other women are up to,” Bower claimed. He added that she could “suss” out what Harry and Meghan were doing.

Bower also criticized the Sussexes’ public profile, arguing that they rely heavily on media attention. He claimed Meghan enjoys regular coverage, including public appearances and social media posts. “[Meghan] especially loves to be in the papers every day,” he said. Bower then suggested that the couple could struggle to maintain public interest if opportunities for publicity decline.

The author also discussed an alleged disagreement over Harry’s interest in countryside hunting parties. According to Bower, Harry would like invitations to shoot partridges and pheasants, while Meghan supposedly dislikes the idea.

Bower further questioned whether Camilla could help King Charles navigate tensions involving the Sussexes. He described the Queen as one of the monarch’s trusted advisers but argued that the royal household lacked experienced counsellors. He compared the current situation with Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, when he believed experienced figures in government and the Cabinet Office helped advise the monarch.

The comments add another chapter to ongoing public debate about Queen Camilla, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. However, Bower’s statements remain his own interpretation of the royal family’s private relationships.
