Prince Harry’s ‘Influence’ on Diana Memoir Sparks Strong Suspicion on Timing — Source

Prince Harry has reportedly been accused of “influencing” Earl Spencer’s Diana memoir. According to a source, people within royal circles allegedly suspect the timing of Charles Spencer’s new book, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.” It was said that the way Harry’s uncle stood for the Sussexes’ security concerns while mentioning his sister’s troubled marriage raised eyebrows. Meanwhile, the memoir has seemingly stirred a dispute between Spencer and King Charles.

Prince Harry accused of having strong influence on Earl Spencer’s Diana book, per source

Prince Harry’s involvement in Earl Charles Spencer’s Diana memoir has reportedly been suspected. A royal source told RadarOnline that the Duke’s alleged “influence” on the book sparked suspicion about the “timing.”

Harry’s bond with his uncle and the Sussexes’ security issue seemed to raise questions. The news came after Spencer publicly supported his nephew and his family seeking appropriate protection. “Charles talking about Diana’s experience while simultaneously arguing that Harry and Meghan need protection inevitably strengthens Harry’s case in the court of public opinion,” the insider said.

However, they clarified that nobody suggested the Duke wrote the book. Even Spencer claimed multiple times in his interviews that Harry was not involved and that the memoir was his account. “But within royal circles there are questions about whether conversations between uncle and nephew have helped shape the wider argument now surrounding it,” the source said.

For those unversed, the Sussexes spent their summer this year with Spencer at the Althorp estate. It was said that the late princess’ brother could have discussed his book with his nephew at the time. Allegedly, the Duke knew about the bombshell revelations and allegations addressed in the memoir.

However, another report later dismissed the accusation. During an interview with CBS Mornings, he claimed that he told Harry and Prince William just before the release. “I decided not to have anyone involved in the book,” Spencer said.
