A royal commentator remarked that Meghan Markle can easily manipulate Prince Harry. A planned public outing to Nottingham has put Harry and Meghan back in the spotlight. Now, this royal commentator has strong views on the couple’s bond, and her comments touch on love, loyalty and pride. This comes ahead of the Sussexes’ first joint public engagement in Nottingham.
Royal biographer analyzes Meghan Markle’s influence on Prince Harry
Speaking to Jeremy Kyle of TalkTV, royal biographer Angela Levin shared her opinions during a recent televised discussion. The presenter opened by noting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were due in Nottingham for their first joint royal-style engagement since returning to the UK.
Levin said she has visited the city with Prince Harry before. According to her, he “loves it” there. The presenter then asked why the couple would take part in a royal-style event when they are not working royals. Levin gave her own reading on the matter. In her view, the pair want to make a point to King Charles and Prince William. The Nottingham outing, she suggested, is partly about that message.
Asked whether Meghan Markle was behind the change in Harry’s public persona, Levin replied, “Of course.” She said Harry “adores her” and remains deeply attached. In her words, Meghan can “manipulate him very easily.” When the presenter asked how that influence works, Levin pointed to Harry’s affection and his pride. “He loves her so much, and he also doesn’t want to say to the family, ‘Yes, you were right,'” she said.
She added that Harry is still waiting for the royal family to apologize to Markle. “Quite what for, I have no idea,” Levin said. She also claimed that Harry becomes upset and panics when Meghan is not particularly nice, so “he has to do what she wants.”
The presenter asked whether Harry might be aware of how things have changed, and Levin kept returning to his devotion to Meghan, along with his reluctance to admit the family was right. Throughout, her remarks reflect her personal opinion of how Meghan and Harry relate to each other.
