Prince Harry recently spoke about a possible career move for his wife, Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex attended the WellChild Awards in London on Monday, September 21, without Markle. While Harry appeared to be kept busy with his personal endeavors and charity work, Markle was reportedly eyeing something big for the next chapter of her career. Notably, the couple returned to the UK on August 26 and intend to stay in the country for an extended period.
Prince Harry talked about Meghan Markle during WellChild Awards event
As per The Royal Observer, the Duke of Sussex indulged in a fun and wholesome conversation with Magic Radio presenter Gaby Roslin.
The younger prince showed off his talent for impressions as he did a fun impression of the Magic Radio slogan. However, Roslin turned the moment into a potential career pitch for the Duchess of Sussex.
She presented Harry with the idea: “Do you want a show on Magic? Your wife could do a show on Magic. She loves Magic!” The Duke of Sussex nodded and confirmed that his wife was definitely a fan of the show.
Roslin proposed that Markle should do her own magic show, to which Harry quipped: “We haven’t talked about it, but I can take this back to her.” Roslin pitched that the “Suits” star could host her own Christmas Show and turned to look at Magic Content Director Paul Sylvester for his approval.
Harry looked at Sylvester and remarked that they would have a “word” about it, seemingly on board with this idea. Notably, Markle previously gushed over Magic Radio on the second season of her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.”
She confessed that it was one of the things she “missed” most about the UK. In other news, multiple reports suggested that Markle was being considered for a role on Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen.” According to Page Six, Markle and her team simply participated in an informal conversation with the casting director, and there was never a solid offer in the first place.
The source alleged that Markle wanted to use the offer as her official reason for moving to the UK with her husband.
