Another Taylor Swift Song Has Disappeared From a Donald Trump White House Video

The White House used another Taylor Swift song in one of Donald Trump‘s videos, but it has now been removed. Previously, the singer had her song “August” silently removed from a video posted by the White House on social media.

Taylor Swift’s 2021 track became unavailable on the administration’s TikTok later the same day

The video showcased the President going about his day, playing golf, giving thumbs up, clapping, and walking on carpets. In the meantime, the song served as the background track. Referring to the lyrics in the video’s caption, the White House stated, “We know you think about us.” The post was shared on TikTok on August 12. However, the song was silently removed from it by August 13.

In a previous post featuring Swift’s song “August,” the White House took a jab at the singer in the caption. They wrote, “I’m sure @Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song!” However, that song was also removed within a few days after the post went live.

Apart from the two songs mentioned above, the Trump administration has also used other Swift songs like Father Figure and The Fate of Ophelia, which also met the same fate on his videos.

Swift isn’t the only artist whose song has been used in a Trump video and then has been removed. Previously, Ariana Grande’s song Bye also featured in a video from the White House. However, the singer called out Trump’s administration for doing so and said, “Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. F**k ice.” (via Variety)
