Travis Kelce recently spoke about his MSG wedding to Taylor Swift. The Chiefs tight end revealed to the reporters, “It was a fun offseason, man. Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us” (via Variety).
Furthermore, Kelce added, “It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.” Moreover, the Chiefs tight end spoke about his “childhood dream” to go to Madison Square Garden. The NFL star said, “I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking. My wife went when I was stuck in training camp. I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.”
Kelce continued, “It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues. To be able to get married there. I thanked the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event, and it was perfect.”
The couple was reportedly keen on getting married at Madison Square Garden in New York City and went to great lengths to keep things private. Swift and Kelce sent out digital invites with the guests’ names watermarked in case of potential leaks. All the guests were reportedly required to sign an NDA as well.
Interestingly, after the couple got married, MSG displayed a digital sign that read, “JusT&T Married!” One fan commented on Kelce’s recent words with, “My wife!!!
