MCU May Be Adding Another Stranger Things Star After Sadie Sink

The Upside Down might not be the only universe calling for this Stranger Things star. Another familiar face from Hawkins seems to be at the center of Marvel’s growing mutant conversation.

After Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp is also rumored to join MCU

Noah Schnapp is reportedly being eyed for a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Industry insider MyTimeToShineHello shared the rumor on X (formerly Twitter), citing Fauxmoi as the original source. Marvel Studios has not confirmed the casting report. Schnapp has also not publicly addressed the speculation surrounding his potential MCU involvement.

The Stranger Things star has been a popular fan-cast choice for Bobby Drake, also known as Iceman. Fans have pointed to Schnapp’s age and his ability to portray emotionally complex characters as key reasons. His portrayal of Will Byers across five seasons of Stranger Things earned him critical praise and multiple awards. Schnapp also previously joked about wanting to wear Spider-Man’s mask someday (via Netflix Junkie).

Schnapp would not be the first Stranger Things alumnus linked to Marvel’s expanding universe. Sadie Sink has already made the leap into the MCU, proving that Hawkins’ young stars have franchise-level appeal. The pattern has fueled further excitement around Schnapp’s rumored involvement with the studio.

Marvel is currently in a significant rebuilding phase as it moves beyond the Multiverse Saga. Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are expected to reshape the franchise entirely. Director Jake Schreier has confirmed that casting conversations are actively underway for the upcoming X-Men reboot.

The studio is reportedly looking toward a youthful cast capable of leading the franchise for years. Several young actors have been linked to possible Marvel roles in recent industry chatter. None of those rumored names, including Schnapp, have received official confirmation from Marvel Studios. Fan casting discussions continue to accelerate as anticipation builds for the MCU’s mutant era.
