Mason Thames rumored for an MCU role
A fresh rumor circulating online claims Marvel Studios is in talks with Mason Thames for an undisclosed role in the MCU. The report originated from a social media post by James Mack stating that the studio is discussing a potential part with the actor. Neither Marvel nor Thames has publicly commented, leaving fans guessing about which character he could eventually play if the rumor is true.
The speculation shifted from whether the talks were real to which hero Thames might portray. Many fans backed him for Cyclops, while others floated names such as Iceman and Nova. One commenter even joked that “Marvel is talking to everyone,” showing just how many casting rumors have surfaced as the studio prepares its next wave of films.
Some fans, however, suggested Marvel should instead look at the young actor leading Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Others asked whether the rumored role could be connected to the X-Men or if Thames had only met with filmmakers.
