Taylor Swift Merch Arrives With Shredded Aaron Lewis’ Unreleased Album Pages

Aaron Lewis has a strong reaction to a record label tearing up the pages of his new album for Taylor Swift merch. Swifties were reportedly surprised when they opened their merch boxes for the Toy Story 5 OST “I Knew It, I Knew You” CD collection and assumed it was some kind of easter egg.

However, Lewis has stepped forward and issued a clarification. The musician explained that the album pages are actually from his upcoming album, Give Me Back My Country.

Aaron Lewis reacts after Taylor Swift uses his unreleased album as packing paper

Taylor Swift’s new merch comes with lyrics printed on shredded album pages from Aaron Lewis’ unreleased album. Notably, Swifties were surprised to discover lyrics printed on the wrapping paper of the singer’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” CD collection. A certain section of fans was confused. Others were convinced that Swift was seemingly teasing new music with these interesting lyrics.

However, it turns out that’s not the case, as Lewis has stepped forward and cleared his stance on X. He wrote in the caption: “Oh look, there’s my new album that hasn’t even been released yet, shredded as packaging paper in Taylor Swift merch. Ain’t that some s**t.”

Notably, the pages are from Aaron Lewis’ upcoming album Give Me Back My Country. The album will be released on July 17 by Big Machine Label Group. Interestingly, it is Swift’s former record label.

In a statement to USA Today, Lewis revealed that he isn’t really active on social media platforms and that his team notified him of it. The 54-year-old said, “I don’t see anything of that type of stuff. And when this was brought to me, I was just like, ‘What is going on? This is just weird.’”

Continuing further, the Staind member stated, “That’s the cover to my brand new record that hasn’t even been put out yet. It’s not like it’s old stuff that was just sitting around that they decided to make packing material out of. It’s my new record. I just don’t understand how something like that can happen.”

Furthermore, Aaron Lewis clarified that he does not hold a grudge against Taylor Swift, whom he met a decade ago.
