Steven Spielberg films Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dancing at Songwriters Hall of Fame induction
Taylor Swift became the “youngest female” to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 11. The pop sensation had her entire family at the event to witness this moment. She was accompanied by her parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, as well as her future mother-in-law, Donna Kelce. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, was also present at the event. But what left the fans joyful was seeing Steven Spielberg documenting Swift and Kelce’s dancing moment.
As seen in the X video, Swift and Kelce are dancing to John Fogerty’s music at the event, with the singer holding her phone and recording her moves. However, seconds later, Spielberg, who shared the same dinner table as the couple, offered to record their moves. Instantly, the singer handed the phone down to the director, who happily took the camera and continued filming the engaged couple, who are rumored to be getting married on July 3. Soon after, the clip went viral with netizens calling the scene “Actually iconic” and “This is genuinely insane.”
For the event, the pop sensation wore a black strapless dress embroidered with flowers, while the NFL star wore a suit. While talking about Swift’s induction, Linda Moran, the CEO and president of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, said, “Taylor Swift received our Hal David Starlight Award in 2010. She’s now being inducted. She’s the youngest female to be inducted.” Per USA Today, the president further added that “Stevie Wonder beat her out because he was 13 when he started. She was 15. Taylor, all I can say is I hope that you’re working on the Johnny Mercer next.”
