Charlie Sheen has ended a long-running child support dispute with Brooke Mueller. The agreement cuts her multimillion-dollar claim to a far smaller, but still substantial, payout.
Charlie Sheen resolved Brooke Mueller’s child support claims with a $500k agreement
Sheen agreed to pay Mueller $500,000 in back child support for their 17-year-old twin sons, Bob Sheen and Max Sheen, according to a recent court filing obtained by RadarOnline. He must pay $250,000 by July 10 and the remaining $250,000 by September 1.
The agreement resolves child support and interest claims covering March 1, 2011, through July 1, 2026. It also requires each parent to cover the twins’ expenses while the boys are in that parent’s custody. Bob and Max primarily live with Sheen, although he and Mueller share physical custody.
The filing states that Sheen considered the risks and costs of continued litigation before settling. The U.S. Sun reported that both sides reviewed their competing calculations for arrears, credits and interest before reaching the agreement.
RadarOnline also reported that Sheen must pay $60,000 toward Mueller’s attorney fees. That brings his total financial obligation under the latest order to $560,000.
Mueller had previously sought a much larger amount. According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, she alleged in December 2025 that Sheen owed $8,967,600 in unpaid child support and $6,418,643 in interest. Mueller claimed a court had ordered him to pay $55,000 per month beginning in April 2010. She alleged that he began sending partial payments, or no payments, in July 2011.
PEOPLE also reported that neither side immediately commented on the agreement. The outlet noted that Mueller and Sheen married in 2008 and divorced in 2011. The settlement closes another complicated financial chapter for the “Two and a Half Men” actor. Sheen previously faced a separate child support dispute with Denise Richards, with whom he shares daughters Sami and Lola. He later ended that child support arrangement.
The agreement brings the years-long child support dispute to a close, replacing the parties’ disputed claims with a finalized payment schedule.
