Tears weren’t shed by Travis Kelce alone on his wedding day to Taylor Swift. Jason Kelce was there too, overcome with emotion as he watched his brother marry the pop sensation. The NFL alum also stood as best man during the star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding.
Jason Kelce revealed he ‘cried more’ at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding
Jason Kelce might have let a few tears fall at his brother’s big day. In fact, the ex-NFL star has admitted that he was more emotional at Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift than at his own.
Speaking on SportsRadio 94WIP on July 30, the 38-year-old confessed that he “probably” cried more during the July 3 MSG nuptials than he did when he married Kylie Kelce back in 2018. “I mean, you know this guys. I’m a crier. I’ve been on this station multiple times on camera. I am a crier,” Kelce began.
The father of four further quipped, “I did cry. I probably cried more this wedding than I cried at my own wedding, which probably is not acceptable. Kylie is probably not happy about that.”
Giving a glimpse into the high-profile nuptials, the former pro athlete described the ceremony as “incredible.” He added that seeing Adam Sandler officiate the wedding was a standout moment for him, PEOPLE reported.
However, Jason Kelce shared that his favorite moment was seeing celebrities and folks from his hometown coming together and blending in so naturally. “My favorite moments were just like the different people that are at this wedding, right? In one moment, I’m seeing Brad Pitt pop out of a corner and talking to him,” he shared. “And then in the next moment, I’m seeing Mrs. Clark, who ran the attendance at Cleveland Heights High School.”
At another point on the course, the former Philadelphia Eagles center got asked whether he drank more or less than 15 beers at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. He reportedly replied that the final number was “way over” 15.
