Joe Rogan Offers Donald Trump Advice Following Knicks Game Boos

Podcaster Joe Rogan has recently given an advice to Donald Trump. The suggestion came after the president was met with loud booing at a New York Knicks game that he attended this week. He was a guest of Knicks owner James Dolan, a prominent donor to his campaigns, at Game 3 of the NBA Finals inside Madison Square Garden.

When arena cameras showed Donald Trump during the national anthem, sustained boos rang through MSG. The president watched from a private suite and, according to pool reports, he appeared to doze off briefly during play.

Addressing the moment on Wednesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host pulled no punches. “He should stick to the UFC. They’re gonna boo him everywhere else,” Rogan told guest and fellow comedian Joey Diaz. The pair dissected the awkward clip, with the podcaster framing the episode as a lesson in crowd management for any public figure.

Rogan laid out, “If there’s 50/50 [cheers and boos], don’t go to that spot. Go to the UFC.” The Ultimate Fighting Championship, where Rogan works as a color commentator, has long been a welcoming environment for Trump. The president has attended multiple cards, typically alongside UFC chief executive Dana White, and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive.

The podcaster and Diaz went on to lampoon the cast of conservative personalities frequently seen cageside with Trump. Rogan described the grouping of Kid Rock, White, and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson as “the Conservative Avengers,” adding, “I was like… this is ridiculous.”

Rogan’s relationship with Trump has shifted entirely. Once an enthusiastic backer who welcomed the president warmly on his programme, the podcaster has grown more critical during Trump’s second term. He has previously characterized some Make America Great Again adherents as “dorks” and publicly challenged the administration’s approach to immigration enforcement.
