Netflix’s Victorious Spin-off Update Is Great News

The upcoming series Hollywood Arts, a spinoff of the popular Nickelodeon show Victorious, has taken a major step toward its premiere. A recent production update confirms that the Netflix spin-off project is now moving forward after completing a major filming milestone.

Hollywood Arts gets major production update

Daniella Monet, who is returning to play Trina Vega in the new series, shared the update directly with fans. She posted on Instagram that filming for Season 1 of Hollywood Arts has officially wrapped.

Monet described celebrating the final day of production with the cast and crew, calling it a meaningful moment for everyone involved. She also mentioned that she had written an open letter, expressing gratitude to those who helped bring the project to life. While Netflix has not yet confirmed an exact release date, the Victorious spin-off is still expected to be released sometime in 2026 on Netflix.

The series was initially developed at Nickelodeon and later licensed to Netflix. The streaming platform has ordered 26 episodes for the first season. After its debut on Netflix, the show will also be made available on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ as part of a secondary release window.

Hollywood Arts will follow a new generation of students at the famous performing arts high school. In the series, Trina Vega returns to her alma mater as a substitute teacher, even though she lacks formal qualifications. Her journey includes both conflict and connection with young performers trying to find their own paths. The show is described as a multi-camera sitcom, maintaining the tone of the original series.

The cast includes Daniella Monet in the lead role, along with newcomers Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm. Yvette Nicole Brown is expected to guest star, reprising her role as Principal Helen Dubois from the original series. It is not yet known whether other original cast members will appear.

All in all, with production now complete, Hollywood Arts will move into post-production.
