‘Will Donald Trump Get Impeached?’ Trends Amid Poll Ratings

As the country nears the midterm elections of the ongoing presidential term, notions of ‘Will Donald Trump get impeached’ have started to surface online. Amid the growing unrest in the general public following ICE’s antics and Trump’s aggressive foreign policies, the businessman-turned-politician seems to have lost favor with his voters. In accordance, Trump has himself admitted that a third-time impeachment for him could be on the cards in the upcoming polls.

Last week, during a House GOP retreat at the Kennedy Center, the current US President revealed that it is imperative for him to win the upcoming midterm elections.

“You got to win the midterms because if we don’t win the midterms, it’s just going to be — I mean, they’ll find a reason to impeach me. I’ll get impeached,” Donald Trump stated, as per Asbury Park Press.

Trump’s comment comes amid increased calls for his impeachment, with several factions of society petitioning for the legislative process to take place. Senator Ed Markey recently appealed to “Invoke the 25th Amendment” via an X (formerly Twitter) post, while referencing the POTUS’ consistent efforts to acquire Greenland.

Meanwhile, Blackout The System, a non-partisan group, has also launched a Change.org petition, demanding Donald Trump’s impeachment. The plea accuses the President of “greed, corruption, and a lack of accountability in leadership,” among other wrongdoings, and has already garnered over 156,000 signatures.

In fact, House resolutions for the Republican Party member’s impeachment have already been introduced, with the most recent H. Res. 939 going on the floor on December 10, 2025, with a vote of 237-140. Notably, Trump was infamously impeached twice in his first term in office. However, none of the resolutions ended with his removal from the White House.

Per Polymarket, betting odds denote a 14% chance that Donald Trump will be impeached by the end of 2026. Moreover, recent polls conducted by RealClearPolling suggest that the public currently favors Democrats (47.3%) over Republicans (42.5%) for the 2026 midterm elections.

More clarity about “will Donald Trump get impeached” should come forth after this year’s midterm elections, which take place on November 3, 2026.
