Donald Trump’s Ally Laura Loomer Calls Out ‘Jihadists’ in Post Midterm Meltdown

Donald Trump’s closest unofficial adviser unleashed a 97-post storm on X after Republicans suffered crushing midterm losses. Laura Loomer’s Election Night spiral featured apocalyptic declarations, Islamophobic rhetoric, and a surprising crisis of faith.

Laura Loomer posts 97-word meltdown after midterm election

The Daily Beast counted 97 posts from Laura Loomer on X after Democrats made sweeping gains in the 2026 midterm elections. A separate Newsweek analysis later counted 119 posts over less than 28 hours, suggesting the total depends on the period examined. The 33-year-old MAGA influencer’s spiral began around 9 p.m. on Election Day. She attended a watch party for Trump-endorsed Byron Donalds, who won Florida’s governorship. However, Democratic victories across the country triggered her lengthy online outburst.

Loomer started by criticizing TikTok, posting “TikTok should have been banned” as Democratic candidates gained ground. She then shifted to Islamophobic rhetoric paired with apocalyptic declarations about America’s future.

“I hate to say it, but America is over,” Loomer wrote after voters rejected candidates she supported. She predicted that “communists and jihadists” would “open our borders and replace our votes with votes from illegal aliens.” She also claimed that elected representatives openly expressed hatred of America, supported communism and backed Sharia law, without identifying the lawmakers she meant.

Loomer signed off dramatically, writing, “America 250 was a funeral. The American Dream is dead.” She then thanked God that “Trump has veto power” before questioning her own faith. “If God is in charge, why did he let our country get taken over by Muslims and communists?” she wrote.

She continued, urging people to “stop using religion as a cope for refusing to come to terms with the Islamic communist takeover of America.” Loomer added, “You aren’t going to pray your way out of Sharia Law and communism.”

Loomer, who described herself as “pro-white nationalism” in a 2017 interview, has maintained a close relationship with President Trump. She remains a frequent unofficial adviser and has publicly defended his political agenda. Trump previously praised her as “a killer” during a rally in Mobile, Alabama. More recently, he criticized Fox News on Truth Social for giving airtime to Democratic voices during midterm election coverage, blaming the network for Republican losses.
