Zayn Malik allegedly called out Harry Styles over costly ticket pricing
At his January 28 Las Vegas concert, the “Dusk Till Dawn” singer seemingly targeted his ex-bandmate for the expensive nature of his forthcoming concert tour’s tickets.
Addressing the crowd on stage in a clip going viral online, Zayn Malik exclaimed, “Who’s from Vegas? Who’s from elsewhere? I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight. You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me.” He jokingly added, “Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high. Just saying,” before moving on to the next song on his setlist for the night.
Notably, Harry Styles has recently announced his Together, Together Tour. It will feature more than 50 shows across seven cities worldwide. The tickets for the events only went live on Monday, January 26, with fans flocking to their relevant ticketing platforms to book their attendance.
However, many soon realized that the prices for the tour’s tickets were astronomically high. Some even shared the cost of a single seat at Madison Square Garden. In their screenshot, one X (formerly Twitter) user highlighted that every available seat would cost $1,179.40 before taxes.
Consequently, Styles’ admirers from around the world followed the trend. Several of them shared the high ticket prices of his concert tour on their turf. To add to the backlash, Ticketmaster has clarified that the dynamic pricing for Styles’ concert was actually decided by the singer’s team.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the ticketing platform further noted, “Tickets for this event have been priced in advance by the tour from $50 – $1,182.40, including service fees.
