The actor is currently receiving intensive care in Atlanta, with updates suggesting his condition has stabilized despite the seriousness of the situation.

According to details shared via a GoFundMe page created for the actor, Quinton Aaron was placed on life support after suffering from what was described as a “severe blood infection.” The page stated that the health crisis happened rapidly, leaving his loved ones facing emotional and financial strain.

The fundraiser explained: “Quinton is currently hospitalized and on life support due to a severe blood infection. This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones.” As of writing, the campaign has raised $36,372 toward its $35K goal. Aaron reportedly collapsed at his home before being rushed to the hospital. While the initial wording on the fundraising page raised alarm, his representatives later clarified that his condition has improved.

Speaking to TMZ, Aaron’s manager shared that he is now stable and able to communicate. She also revealed that Aaron fell while walking up the stairs in his apartment last week. What caused his legs to buckle is not yet known. The report added, indicating that doctors are still assessing the underlying cause of the incident.

In a separate statement to The Daily Mail, manager Katrina Fristoe asked for privacy on behalf of Aaron’s family. She said: “The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of support from fans and the media but respectfully requests privacy during this time.” Fristoe also confirmed that Aaron is “receiving excellent medical care” and is surrounded by family. Further updates are expected once his condition improves. The actor is best known for playing Michael Oher in The Blind Side, the 2009 sports drama that starred Sandra Bullock.
