Pabst Blue Ribbon is dropping a behemoth of a release. The popular beer brand’s newest drop is a Godzilla-inspired beer pack that has pint lovers on high alert. Pabst Blue Ribbon is throwing a monster party in celebration of Godzilla’s 70th anniversary, and fans are here for it.
Beer brand unveils Godzilla-themed beer pack
Pabst Blue Ribbon has teamed up with Godzilla to create a limited-edition beer pack that gives a nod to the King of Monsters.
On the occasion of Godzilla’s 70th anniversary, the brand has come up with a special lineup of cans featuring the King of Monsters and his fellow Kaijus – Mechagodzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah. Designed by artist ATTACK Peter, these limited-edition cans will be available in stores in early 2026.
“Building on the momentum of PBR’s recent Godzilla can collaboration with Toho International, the new 99 Pack wraps 99 Pabst Blue Ribbon cans in a gigantic, all-new original illustration featuring characters from the Godzilla universe”, the press details read.
“It’s not our style to spend millions of dollars for a few seconds of airtime during the big game”, Rachel Keeton, Senior Brand Director, said. “Instead we’re getting in on the post-season action in a way our drinkers can have some fun with. The Godzilla 99pk is here to loudly crash tailgates and watch parties everywhere.”
However, Pabst Blue Ribbon is releasing just 4000 Godzilla 99-packs nationwide. Each pack features an expansive design by ATTACK Peter. This makes it a highly sought-after collectible and a prominent retail display item.
The PBR x Godzilla 99-pack features new artwork and characters added to the original designs. ATTACK Peter created exclusive art for the release, building on the designs appearing on 60 million PBR cans.
Kristin Parcell, General Manager of Toho International, said Pabst and Godzilla’s collab brings pop culture, art, and lifestyle together. She further added that Toho International is proud to reimagine Godzilla’s world in a 99-pack. Parcel also shared that working with PBR and ATTACK PETER lets fans experience Godzilla in a fresh way.
In yet another exciting news for fans, Godzilla Minus Zero is set to hit U.S. theaters on November 6, 2026, just three days after its Japanese release on November 3, 2026.
