The supposed message read, “Hey u single now?” and was allegedly pulled from Earle’s close friend’s Instagram story. Within hours, TikTok users and fan accounts were sharing the image as proof that Dart had made a move.
Earle, however, quickly responded, and she didn’t mince words. In a TikTok posted on Sunday, the social media personality called the screenshot “fake” and claimed the message never happened. “What is this fake photoshopped DM u guys are posting.” She added that she wouldn’t share that kind of exchange publicly even if it were real.
The rumor came just one day after Us Weekly reported that multiple sources claimed Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios had ended their relationship after nearly two years together. One insider suggested distance and scheduling made the relationship difficult, and that the decision to part ways was “mutual.”
The pair’s relationship had already been the subject of online scrutiny.
