Kris Jenner has had her iconic Hidden Hills mansion up for sale for more than 10 months, but it’s still on the market. And sources say, despite this, the reality TV star is not ready to reduce the asking price, $13.5 million, of her home. She is “staying firm” on not dropping the price. The businesswoman bought the mansion, which features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and black and white tiled flooring, in 2010 for $4m.
Kris Jenner priced $13 million mansion for sale keeping ‘prestige’ factors in mind, per source
Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills mansion was part of their former reality series, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” for over 11 years. However, she put her 9,000-square-foot estate on the market in February for $13.5 million. As per The U.S. Sun, the mansion was put up for sale by the prestigious real estate firm, Christie’s.
However, to date, the house remains unsold. Despite this, Jenner is not reducing the asking price. “Kris doesn’t want to drop the price, she’s staying firm,” a source told the outlet.
As per the individual, the 70-year-old “feels very strongly it’s priced fairly and anyone who thinks it’s overpriced doesn’t understand the full value of the home.”
Moreover, Jenner “feels the millions of dollars in renovations have more than added to the value.” But more than that, the socialite feels that since she has bought “prestige” to the mansion and “to the whole neighborhood,” it “has skyrocketed the property’s value.”
“It’s one of the most famous houses on TV and she knows she popularized putting Calabasas and Hidden Hills on the map and priced the home with all those things in mind,” the tipster added.
While the socialite is not reducing the price, she did share the reason for selling the property on “The Kardashians.” As per PEOPLE, during the October 23 season premiere of the reality show, Jenner said it’s time to “move on” and “let go” of the property, before admitting the real reason for selling off her mansion. ““Cash. I mean, is that a question?.”
