What is Liam Neeson’s The Next Three Days movie about?

The film follows John Brennan as his life turns upside down after his wife, Lara, is arrested for murdering her boss. Although she maintains her innocence, the court finds her guilty and sentences her to prison.

Three years later, her final appeal is rejected, leaving John desperate to find another way to bring her home. With no experience in planning an escape, he eventually decides to take matters into his own hands and orchestrate a prison break.

The story follows his attempts to free Lara while staying one step ahead of the authorities.
