A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor offers insights into which superheroes won’t be part of Secret Wars. The upcoming Avengers movie will unite Marvel heroes from three distinct worlds. With Dr. Doom posing as a major threat to all, some Avengers won’t make it past Doomsday.
The trusted insider, James Mack, was asked about which Marvel heroes would die in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday; he replied, “3 X-Men and 2 Avengers.”
Furthermore, when asked if these characters could return in Secret Wars, the insider wrote, “No bro, I’m talking about normal deaths. Only those who die when the final Incursion collision happens will return in Secret Wars. Natural deaths or deaths caused directly by someone won’t be reversed.”

Fans also speculated that Nightcrawler, Charles Xavier, and Mistique were the three X-Men referred to by the insider. However, these are just rumors and conjectures and should be treated as such until confirmed by Marvel Studios or after the movie releases.
