Why do the most bizarre happenings always happen in Florida? I mean, almost, ALWAYS. Pregnant cupcake assault? A man shooting out the tires of an AT&T truck in broad day light. Punching an alligator while retrieving your golf ball? We could go on and on for days. Florida is absolute bonkers.

Now you can add to this to the list: drunk woman bites fishing line in Atlantic Ocean.

According to St. Johns County Sheriff’s office, a man was fishing in St. Augustine Florida when a drunk 22-year-old woman started cursing at him, swam up to his fishing line, bit said line, and started swimming away with the rig in her mouth.

The fisherman was just chilling with a rented pole when the large mouth homo sapien, AKA Alexandria Turner, bit off more than she could chew.

Deputies asked Alexandria Turner to come to the pier office, but she became belligerent. Investigators say Turner created a scene and upset the “sense of public norm at the pier” when they tried to take her into custody.

She was arrested on suspicion of intoxication and resisting arrest.

It’s unsure if Turner has an attorney.

You know what they should say in Florida: friends don’t let friends swim drunk. Yikes.
