Insane First Person Video Captures Terrifying California Wildfire Escape

Looking like something out of a disaster movie, a man was able to film the California wildfire as he was trying to leave Anderson Springs, California, and he barely escaped himself. The scene looks like something straight out of hell, so if you’re wondering what hell might look like here is a preview of it.

One may wonder how someone even ends up in this situation, but the man who filmed this admits he could have left sooner: “We did wait way too long to get out,” he said. “We are the last house at the very back of the Springs, down in a gulch. There was no smoke or ash coming our way, and there were no sirens or air support nearby, so we honestly didn’t know how close (the fire) was.”

According to state officials, the wildfire has already claimed the life of one person and has destroyed over 400 homes.

Unfortunately, as of Monday night, the fire is only 10% contained, so it will continue to wreak havoc until further notice.
