Shia LaBeouf, previously best known as the protagonist in the Transformers series but now best known for doing weird shit every other week, is currently live streaming himself riding in an elevator at Oxford University.

LaBeouf is being joined on his adventure by his two friends Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner, with the whole thing being live streamed on YouTube. He’s been in the elevator since 9 am local time, and has encouraged students who join him in his “arts performance” to stage a “performance of monologues”. At the time of this writing, he’s currently talking about art with a couple of Londoners.

LaBeouf’s experiment has been condoned by the Oxford Union, the Oxford University’s debating society, who are streaming the entire event on their YouTube channel under the name “#ELEVATE”. LaBeouf will remain in the elevator until 9 am on 20th February, though will briefly leave in order to stage a talk with Oxford students.
