It’s Official: A Drink Or Two After Work Is Good For You

Now here’s some Monday news you can use.

According to a study from the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG), moderate alcohol consumption (about one to two drinks per day) helps you age slower. Cheers to that!

The study ultimately proved that cigarette smoking and heavy alcohol use lead to significantly premature and accelerated aging. However, those correlated with the healthiest aging were non-smokers who have one to two drinks per day. These people were found to age better than even non-smokers who also don’t drink at all. Take that, teetotalers!

So, you no longer have to feel bad about hitting up happy hour every single workday, unless of course you’re doing it to avoid your loved ones and think that the waitress who is nice to you actually wants to be your girlfriend.
