Watch a ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Episode 8 Preview Scene

Next week, “Star Wars Rebels” returns to Disney XD for the remaining episodes of its first season. And this time, one of the biggest Star Wars characters is making his debut on the series.

For the first season of “Star Wars Rebels,” four actors from the original Star Wars trilogy signed on to reprise their roles. Anthony Daniels voiced C-3P0 earlier in the season, while James Earl Jones was once again Darth Vader in an exclusive scene from ABC’s broadcast of the “Star Wars Rebels” pilot episode.

IGN premiered the clip that features the third returning actor, as Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) returns to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and hears the voice of one of his old masters.

And yes, that is Frank Oz voicing Yoda in that clip for the first time since Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Tom Kane voiced Yoda in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” so it’s a bit of a coup to get Oz back at least one more time.

In case you were wondering about the fourth returning actor, Billy Dee Williams will be playing Lando Calrissian later in the season on “Star Wars Rebels.”

“Star Wars Rebels” episode 8 will be broadcast on Monday, January 4 on Disney XD.
