For the last five years or so, Hollywood has apparently been trying to make a Baywatch film. And better yet, they’re taking Mr. Franchise King himself, Dwayne Johnson, and throwing him at it and hoping it sticks.
The screenplay is to be penned by an up-and-coming writer who made it onto “The Blacklist” (an annual list of the most popular unproduced screenplays in Hollywood).
