El Rey Network’s “Matador” follows the story of Tony Bravo, a CIA mole who is currently undercover as a member of the L.A. Riot Soccer team while investigating the Riot’s owner, Andrés Galan (Alfred Molina). And just over halfway through the first season, Tony’s secrets are already threatened by the enigmatic Samuel (Louis Ozawa Changchien).
In this exclusive preview scene from next week’s eighth episode of “Matador,” we see Samuel follow a lead on Tony’s past activities before brutalizing anyone unfortunate enough to stand in the way of his search for answers.
The eighth episode is entitled “Everything Old is New Again.” El Rey Network also passed along a description of the episode.
“The data seized from the mysterious medi-spa sends Tony and Annie on a manhunt to find the parties responsible for a devastating turn of events. While Galan becomes privy to the larger plan, Samuel dives deeper into Tony’s backstory, which leads him to the “wurst” kind of informant.”
“Matador” episode 8 premieres this Tuesday, September 2 on El Rey Network.
