Try this on for size…X-Men: Days of Future Past likely cost more to make than every other movie 20th Century Fox has ever made except Avatar.
According to a report Wednesday by Crave’s ComicBookMovie.com, the film commissioner in Quebec, which supervised the movie shoot in Montreal, said X-Men: Days of Future Past is the second most expensive movie Fox has ever made. No numbers were given, but with the scads of effects work and the ginormous all-star cast put the film’s budget projections around $225 million. And that’s BEFORE the expected reshoots set to happen soon in Montreal.
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, 2014.
